Member Benefits

NYSUT's Education & Learning Trust (elt.nysut.org) provides innovative professional learning for teachers and School-Related Professionals that is affordable and flexible, modeled on best practices and current research-based strategies.

ELT offers a wide variety of learning opportunities that include courses for undergraduate, graduate and in-service credit; college programs that lead to master's degrees; and seminars, both site-based and online, to meet the needs of NYSUT members, whether for professional growth or certification purposes.

As an approved CTLE provider, ELT's courses and seminars can be used toward CTLE hour fulfillment. ELT instructors are the best in their profession.

Union leaders, school district officials and Teacher Center directors have come to depend upon ELT's dynamic instructors over the past 40 years for professional learning of the highest quality. ELT's application-based model and adherence to the principle of "members teaching members" contributes to the success of ELT's offerings.

NYSUT Member Benefits has been offering NYSUT members a variety of endorsed insurance, financial, legal, and discount programs for the past 30 years designed to provide a quality product while saving them money.
